勇氣即興劇場於2004年由吳效賢在台北創立，是台灣第一個專注於即興劇專業服務的團隊。

勇氣即興做為台灣即興劇領域的先驅，致力引進與開創即興劇知識與工作方法，透過各類工作坊解放個人和團隊的即興思維與創造力。多年來，我們舉辦了近千百場工作坊，影響了上萬人次的學員。除了公開班外，也服務各企業、新創、非營利組織、各級學校。

自2007年起，定期在台北舉辦售票演出，並巡演至全台各城市，以及香港、澳門、上海和澳洲坎培拉。2014年，在台北雙連打造「勇氣即興主舞台」，每週末於專屬小劇場，固定演出定目即興劇。2019年起，持續製作數位內容創作，包括：podcast、知識影片、直播演出等。

勇氣即興是一個學習型的組織，藝術總監及團隊成員多年來持續在專業上精進與實驗，積極參與國際交流，將最新的即興劇理念和技術引進台灣。同時，我們注重即興劇人才的培育與數位轉型，提供舞台和機會提升他們的專業能力，實現自我價值。

「啟發更有創意自信的台灣」是我們的使命，我們將持續致力即興劇的普及與價值提升，以成為華語世界最具指標性的即興劇團隊為目標，持續努力。

Guts Improv Theatre was founded by Wu, Hsiao-Hsien in Taipei in 2004, making it the first organization in Taiwan dedicated to professional improvisational theatre.

As a pioneer in Taiwan's improv theatre scene, Guts Improv is committed to introducing and developing improv knowledge and methodologies, liberating individual and team's improv mindset and creativity through improv training. 

Over 20 years, we have hosted nearly a thousand workshops, impacting tens of thousands of students. In addition to public classes, we also serve various enterprises, startups, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions.

Since 2007, we have been holding regular ticketed performances in Taipei, touring to cities across Taiwan, as well as Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai, and Canberra, Australia. 

In 2014, we established the "Guts Improv Main Stage" in Taipei's Shuanglian area, where we perform repertory improv shows every weekend. 

Since 2019, we have been consistently producing digital content, including podcasts, youtube videos, and live streaming performances.

Guts Improv is a learning organization, with our artistic director and improvisers continuously enhancing and experimenting with their professional skills. We actively engage in international exchanges, introducing the latest improv concepts and techniques to Taiwan. 

Simultaneously, we prioritize the cultivation of improv talent and digital transformation, providing platforms and opportunities for them to enhance their professional abilities and realize their self-worth.

We are committed to popularizing and elevating the value of improv, aiming to become the most iconic improv brand in the Chinese-speaking world. We will continue our efforts toward this goal.
